All purchases, including preorders and backorders, are charged at the time the order is placed, not when it ships. To ensure the security of your data and privacy, we do not store your complete credit card information once the order has been placed.

This also means that because your order is paid for and authorized by your financial institution at the time of purchase, edits to billing information, including payment method and billing addresses cannot be changed. If your order was placed and authorized with the incorrect billing address, your financial institution has already allowed the payment as a characteristic charge.
